  140 foot unlighted pole, 262 degrees, MAG 3137 feet from intersection RWY04L and RWY11.

 
Noise abatement procedure: RWY11 DEP only, RWY 29 APP only.  Avoid overflight of residential areas and schools north and east of the airport.

 
Avoid overflight of refineries west of airport.  Gaseous exhaust plumes and flames may rise to 267 feet AGL without warning.

 
RWY's 11/29 and 04L/22R available during daylight VFR weather only.

 

 John Rogers Field was recently closed down as a controlled airport.  Pilots to Kalaeloa can expect vectoring for visual approach to any runway, weather permitting, during daylight hours.  From dusk till dawn, airport operations will be shifted to RWYs 04R/22L.

Pilots should be advised of refineries west of the airport, and noise abatement procedures in effect at the field.
