Pilot Rules of Conduct:

  • All Pilots must fly one flight per calendar month to remain on the rosters.  If this is not possible, please let the management know so that other accommodations can be made.
     
  • Vulgar language, off color remarks, or "flame wars" will not be tolerated by any pilot or staff member while employed with WVA.  Unless after an investigation, that the remarks were provoked, at which time, a reprimand will be discussed by the board and carried out.  This can include termination from WVA.
     
  • Pilots earn hour credit by flying routes and submitting Pilot Information Reports (PIREPs) to management.  Hours will be updated weekly, sooner as time allows.
     
  • WVA staff and pilots will, upon polite request, will assist those that require it.
     
  • WVA is committed to the promotion of the VA industry as a whole, and is proud to be a member of it, your participation and cooperation in this goal is greatly appreciated.
     
  • WVA Pilots can Choose their own routes to fly, and what aircraft they would like to fly on that route.  However; keep in mind that some airports are only equipped to handle certain size aircraft.
     
  • Western flights can be flown "offline" as well as "online" and is at the pilot's discretion and level of comfort as to the status of online flight.
